Welcome to Today

I moved to Bucerias, Nayarit, Mexico in August, 2023. It’s just 30 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta. Where I lived for a year. But more on that in a YESTERDAY story. This pic is the view from my apartment; sunsets in Mexico are beautiful. My lovely neighbors, also retired Americans, suggested I start a blog. And Lynn, here it is!

I moved to Mexico in late summer 2021. I was born in Mexico and my family moved to Los Angeles, California when I was quite young. I am probably the ONLY person you have ever met (physically or virtually) that was completely educated within walking distance of her parent’s house. Yup, kindergarten through college. My parents did not believe in sleepovers (more on that later) let alone “going away to college”. Fortunately for me, there was an amazing 4 year university two blocks from our home.

But back to TODAY. I decided to use some of my retired “down time” to create this blog. I’ve always loved to write and read. So here it is. I plan on sharing stories from my 35 year human resources career as well as the accompanying travel stories. My amazing career took me around the country (and parts of the world) and I relocated 17 times in my career. And that’s not counting my retirement to Mexico (where I have moved 3 times in 3 years). Again, more on that later!

So, that’s just a little about me: professional HR Executive, mover, traveler and more. I’d love to hear your comments. Stay tuned for more on YESTERDAY, TODAY and TOMORROW.

You are a natural born writer and story teller. You energy bounces off the page and just as real here as you are in person.

Seeing Lola’s picture Yesterday was a delight, looking forward to hearing your screen door click Today when you return home, and can’t wait to read your next blog post tomorrow!
